In my opinion the best industry you can get into is Information Systems and Business Process Modelling. There is so much demand from businesses who have seen the amazing results of other businesses once they have been re-engineered.

I'm just curious as to what other self-employed folks do for a living. You don't have to name your company. I'm just curious as to the TYPE of work you do. How long have you been self-employed? Are you self-employed full-time or part-time? At what point did you decide to become self-employed? What would you change about that decision, if anything? I'm a pet nutrition & wellness consultant for dogs and cats, as well as a distributor for multiple natural products. I had always known I would have my own company, just wasn't sure what. After 7 years in the pet industry, it finally hit me. Although I keep a part-time job to help support me until I make a profit, I wouldn't dream of entering the workforce full time to work for someone else. The job situation is too unstable. Besides, this country initially got rolling because of entrepreneurs! Being a Toluna survey taker does count, so I guess I could add that on, too.
