I think the future is bright with the introduction of skype in mobile phones. Internet call are very cheap these days basically if you have internet on mobile that means it's free

Do you guys use free open source software such as open office, Ubuntu, gimp etc? Or do you prefer to download premium software and try to use them "free"? I try to use open software as much as I could and some open software are even better than paid for software out there.

Anyone tried portable applications? There are variety of open source free to use software which you can carry around in a USP drive. Give it a go. I regularly use portable Firefox and Openoffice on the go.
