with the latest child killed by a dog im still in two minds even now if i agree with the dangerous dog act can any type of dog be dangerous or are we just going to add powerfull dogs to the ban
though it would be easier to blame a breed of dog maybe we should think about what type of owner selects a big powerfull dog and the bad owner creates anouther bad dog
some banned breeds owned by the right type of owner can be a family pet but in the wrong hands i think it can become a loaded gun
small dogs are known to attack so like i said im still in two minds can we ban one type or would be need to ban all dogs to stop any children or adults being bitten or maybe the goverment should have contiued with dog licences what do you think ?

There are very few bad dogs out there, those that are usually have a medical condition causingit. There are really only Bad owners, they want a dog but do not spend the time and effort required to adequately train them. Also leaving a child in the vacinity of dogs is a major issue, Personally I would trust the trained dog over the child anytime. I'm pretty certain I would snap at a child for sticking it's finger up my nose or pulling my tail (theoretically)

I am asking this - because everywhere is still all geared towrds mother and baby this and that clubs, parking, store discounts.
I am starting to feel that maybe i should return to work and let my wife lose her career.

If thats what works best in that family unit then yes.

I personally think its not needed and other forms of punishment can be used should it be required. Smacking children only causes resentment.

It is wrong! If it's wrong to slap another person be that adult or child, which you can be prosecuted for, then it must also be wrong to hit your own child.
