Saw a human statue in town, sprayed in gold and not moving a muscle, not a blink or a flicker, didnt appear to be breathing..how do they do it and how do they keep it up for so long? wanted to ask him did it take long to get sprayed and how long to remove? Put some money in his collection box and very much admired him, but to tell you the truth he gave me the creeps a bit even though it is so clever!
I think they're great and wish I had the patience to stand that still for so long. I would last about 40 minute then run around grabbing everyone as I would so jolly bored. I think it is an art form and a real skill. Its funny watching people around them, some people walk well away from them and watch them as if they are going to jump on them and other people go up and poke them to see if they are real. They are always funny with kids as I think with kids imaginations they don't really realise they are real till they move
was in Palma - Majorca in the middle of july, temperature was 30 ish dgs in the sun, and he was standing in the sun, and there not a sign of sweat on him ... his name was Ice Pack .. SORRRY NO I JEST About his name, but could not resist it ... Serious now, i do not know how he did it or any of them, especially the ones abroad, in all that heat, they deserve the coppers they get, i love to watch them interact with folk when a euro or ??? is thrown in to the cap / box. and always give every one something, for the entertainment they give to us.. to me its not like tipping which i,m not always for, its for pure entertainment
it is amazing how those guys stay still for so long. the ones that are in covent garden on a regular basis are awesome. But you wouldn't want to be the person painting on the goo in their nether reasons!
yes i agree with you yowzer these people who dress up as somone or something must have the patience of a saint,i remember going on a mini cruise to amsterdam a few years ago now,and in the centre of amsterdam away from the red light district of course ha! Ha!,there is a big squareand its full of theses human statues obviously there to make money from us tourists but i have to say some of them do give you the creeps and what they dont like you doing is try and take a photograph without putting money in the box,but how they stop motionless for so long!i really dont know,think ill stay with me day job Ha! ha!...............
