As the BBC are cutting back so much on its programming and giving us more and more repeats should they really still be able to charge us a television licnse fee. Everyday we have to put up with repeats and advertising for what is on all the other BBC channels I think it is time that the fee was scrapped.

Scrap the licence fee  is this feedback useful?

I think the TV licence fee should be scrapped as it is another bill to be paid and we have enough of these anyway. My young son has recently started renting his own flat and found employment. He is not on a great wage and struggles to meet his rent and council tax plus other bills. As he does not have enough to buy a TV licence outright he had to join a payment plan which resulted in him paying almost double the price of a licence during the first year. It is very unfair and should be done away with or maybe means tested. I can see why so many people end up in court for having no TV licence. Its not like the BBC have a great deal ot offer, my son rarely watches their channels and only really uses his TV for playing his games console through although he does watch the occasional TV programe so cannot be exempt. I doubt the licence will ever be abolished as its easy money for the BBC. P.S. How do you spell licence? Have i spelt it wrong throughout my opinion?
