First England loses to Russia in the football and will now probably not qualify, then the England Rugby team loses to South Africa in the World Cup and then Lewis Hamilton loses the Formula 1 Championship title. Amazing, but they tried their best, you have to give them that. But I just dont understand the football. This is a matter that can come to a number of conclusions of which many are not either right or wrong. It is just plainly a matter of opinion and I think all points of view should be understood and well respected as only one view may not be necessarily be right and everyone has the right to say and express their own opinions. This matter may be talked about for a while and I think that there will be no rapid conclusions from just one person's opinions. I believe that a number of things do affect the conclusion and my belief and therefore my opinion may be a little biased to what I think matters. Apparently not for - winning the rugby world cup, for winning the formula 1 Grand Prix Championship, for having great summer weather, for winning the Eurovision Song Contest, for winning much of anything at all, in fact. Let's hope that England, and the rest of the UK as well, get our sporting act together ready for 2012. Investment in our children for sport means investing in a healthy future population of adults.
