I have had several friends who had done weight watchers and had great success, the reasons they found it better than other clubs was that: you have someone you report to as such so you are held accountable and having weigh in's you can lie about what you ate but the scales tell the truth, they help you to change your eating habits rather than putting you on a strict diet, it helps you change your lifestyle so you can maintain the weight loss going forward, most of the counsellors or supporters are people who have lost weight themselves so understand and are supportive, it gives you a good understanding of the calories in foods and how to balance your diet.
